We were neck deep in our work , audits, reports , mock drills and pilling work expectations .. Needed a break !!! ..
My friend Rahul suggested we go out least an over night . Sounded convincing but where do we head . We needed a place not very far and also easy on pocket . So we started chasing Mr. Google . Didn't want to go to the regular places . To make it interesting we circulated the skeleton of this idea to our team members ... As usual team will not read emails so we sent a reminder with some visuals .. It got them excited .. Ideas started poring from all quarters . Mostly the regular places . Finally we came across a location called Igatpuri ... Totally Virgin !!! voila we wanted this . So we started checking out places close to Igatpuri . This was another friend Balla's idea to visit Golden resort .
It is a vast expansive place with a beautiful pool and a forest woody ambiance . Woody bits around the place with the wood bridges with a water fall backdrop. This was further enhanced with the hilly background . A complete picturesque view !!!.
We landed there with 5 cars loaded with approx. 20 people . With a mix of team members and management crowd .. Perfect place to break the ice between them . Lets leave that alone . We had 4 crates of juice of the oats , 2 crates of juices of grapes, matured over a period from well known distilleries . Landing time around 6.20 pm , very misty with monkeys around and a temp. of around 21deg.C. Clothes changed to casuals and off to the pool . Shivers started to be felt but soon we settled in the weather .
Bala came loaded with his speakers and a phone full of songs . Interestingly his songs were mostly Bollywood with a mix of north indian songs . Danced with the a lot of noise and mischief . served with hot chicken curry . Buffet was served @ 9 . Cold was beginning to show , The location had backwater flowing through the rear of the resort. That night it kept drizzling making any effect of drinks useless ..
After dinner we got into the large dormitory with 9 beds on each side and two rows of them in total . More crowd joined us in the the night and we booked an additional rooms . People with the girl crowd along were pretty decent and decided to call it a day . While we the bachellorettes were hard pressed kept going with the night . Finally th etally of the people rose to 39 and the ones awake for the night dropped to a low 9 nner !!! . Conversations , topics never died, Bala called off and dozzed . Finaly we were down to 4 of us and later down to only 2 by 5am in the morning . Now i and Rahul decided to trek the hill closeby .

In inebriated condition , we were gong-ho about trekking . All we were clad were shorts and a chilling temperature of approx 4 to 5 deg C.
Second take to the paradise : date 31st July'15

To relive the experience igatpuri was again the choice . All set we received an overwhelming nomination for the outing . Friday was the day. Since with kept things busy there was hardly any scope for breakfast or lunch ,we started at 3pm . 6 cars loaded with people and all craving for food . Some were fortunate enough to be able to eat up before the journey and majority were awaiting a halt. The first halt came at kalyan phata , vada pav was a staple diet with chai ! All stomached up were continued our journey . Hoping for rains we progressed to our destination , one of the cars that was speeding ahead needed navigation support . So we lead the way from Kasara ghat . The weather changed and the mountainside cool breeze played a welcome note much to our delight .
We camped at a closeby resort which was strategically placed at the foothills of a small hill in Igatpuri . 
Basking the nature with a picturisque view on the heals of the hill lied our swimming pool .
